Yes, you read right!  If you love chocolate, you can now run for Love4Gambia and 4Chocolate at the same time!  Love4Gambia is the official charity of the 2012 Chocolate Race.  This unique event is brought to you by Dirty Runner Productions and features chocolate stations along the route and an amazing chocolate fest at the finish line.  All race finishers will receive a funky finisher medal and tech shirt, can overdose on chocolates post-race and can feel good inside for having made a difference in the lives of others!

Join us in beautiful Port Dalhousie, located in Ontario’s scenic Niagara region, on Sunday, April 29 and participate in either the 5 km, 10 km or 10 mile run.  Then really make your run count and become a member of Team Love4Gambia to help keep kids alive and communities strong in West Africa.  Walkers are also welcome at the events, although there is no official walking category.

To be part of Team Love4Gambia, all you need to do is raise money for life-saving health education programs that teach children in the Gambia how to protect themselves from preventable and treatable diseases like HIV/AIDS and malaria.  Anyone who raises a minimum of $100 will receive a technical Love4Gambia team shirt.  That’s just $10 from 10 friends.

Handmade bracelet from the Gambia

Those who raise $200 or more will receive a special gift directly from the Gambia – a handmade bracelet with your name on it.  And those who raise $500 or more will receive a pair of running shoes from Mizuno!  Help us make a difference and sign up to join Team Love4Gambia at the Chocolate Race today!
